Understanding Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)

Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) is a high-precision measuring instrument integrating optics, mechanics and electricity. through the coordination of detecting sensor (probe) and spatial axis movement, CMM can obtain positions of the discrete spatial points on the measured geometric element., And then it can complete the analysis and fitting of the measured points (point croups) through a certain mathematical calculation, Eventually, it restores the measured geometric elements under examination and calculates deviations from their theoretical values, thereby completing the inspection process for the measured components.
